Tudor Place's most significant fundraiser and a glamorous "must" on the local calendar. Chairs Amy Gross and Megan Paleologos invite you to an elegant party on the South Lawn to support Tudor Place and to honor the memory of Elizabeth Powell, their friend and a friend to the museum. Elizabeth Powell called Tudor Place her "backyard before she had a backyard." She spoke fondly of the fun she and her children enjoyed exploring it. Creative and selfless, Elizabeth brought extraordinary verve and dedication to the Tudor Place Board when she joined it in 2012. She and her husband Jeff were faithful supporters of the museum and its Garden Party, which she chaired in 2015. Her enthusiasm helped the museum reach new audiences and supporters, emphasizing its value to the community. The Spring Garden Party is Tudor Place's most significant annual fundraiser, helping fund education, operations, and preservation of the historic house and its 5½-acre landscape.
