Ada Gates Patton - "Full Circle: The Unexpected Lives of Two Revolutionaries"

Ada will give a talk on Henry Burden, a pivotal inventor, engineer, and businessman who created the machines that fueled the Industrial Revolution, and Ada Gates Patton, his great, great granddaughter: A New York debutante and actress who became the first woman to shoe racehorses in the US and Canada. Ada is an internationally-known farrier and has been featured in everything from the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame to the 1984 Olympic Games to Late Night With David Letterman.
